System Photonics is maintaining its commitment to the world of sustainable design by taking part in the 2011 edition of Ecobuild, the fair that presents materials, products and services offering ideas and solutions for sustainable buildings. Now in its 7th edition, ECOBUILD is a recognized event, attracting over 1000 exhibitors and 41,000 visitors last year; it is the place to see recently launched products, with many seminars and conferences held on energy issues, featuring products and services for sustainable design, building, renovation and maintenance. System Photonics will be present with a stand where it will be welcoming architects, designers, builders, engineers, installers, distributors and opinion leaders in the construction industry. The products presented include BIPV solutions for highly aesthetic and efficient photovoltaic roofs and facades. This year the British market is set to be one of the most interesting worldwide, with a series of regulatory measures aimed at providing incentives for the sector. For photovoltaic solar systems, the Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) is a proven strong incentive system for the adoption of renewable technologies. This measure provides for the payment of each KWh generated through renewable sources, whether the energy is consumed or resold to the grid.
